Only thing I have to say is Scott Peterson has absolutely no idea what mp3s are. The fact that he keeps harping on mp3 vs FLAC means he actually has no idea what is behind the technology and as such, his comments are off base. And I USE FLACS for the record but NOT for the reason of having...
Yet another thread poster does not understand the difference between opinion and fact.
Here is an example, my opinion is that Kirk Hammett sucks ass. Can't write for shit, and surfs instead of rocking. There see how easy?
I mean no it isn't. Its one fucking year. That is completely standard in the industry for low end parts. My PC system has a 3 year advanced replacement warranty for no extra cost (meaning they ship me new parts without me sending anything back). That is appreciably better.
All I know about this subject is they used to use the '422' bass cones on those speakers, now they don't. People that like the old style do not like the new speakers. I haven't heard the 2 in person to tell however.
hmm, my 78 modded marshall (mod is switchable), sounds gat damn close to that with a TS. I use a TC Booster/Line Driver though, so a more thrashy/hardcore sound instead. I swear the JMP has one of the best and most flexable tone stacks of all amps. You can do classic through modern with a...

svhosts are basically windows services, bottom line is don't worry about them, they only take a tiny bit of memory and only do things when they need to... they don't suck system resources for lack of a better word
116 is great really, you can get it even better if you disable speed step, keep...

In my opinion using the solid state hard drives along with disabling...
You are most welcome! I must say this as well, this does increase the idle power draw by say 2-7% since the CPU isn't declocking. No big deal for a DAW rig in my opinion. :)
Modern PCs have either AMD or Intel based processors. These processors have dynamic clock speeds which means they vary the speed of the processor based on workload and temperature. This is called Speed Step on Intel systems and Cool n Quiet on AMD systems.
I'm going to be using Intel...
