I was told my cab would probably ship around the same time as my CCV. Cabs are done but they are waiting for the logo plates. I don't think anyone has the new production cab yet.
Cool amp. It was just a little too vintage or old school for me. I thought 34 mode was a tad bright but the AFD mode could be dialed in as dark as you would need. Loop, power scaling and auto bias were all cool and worked well. It did take boosts well if you're wanting more juice.

Sounds great but just think how much better this guy would sound with a TA instead of that pos Gibsuck. Those frets ends are probably tearing up his hand causing his voice to drift out of key like that.
Assuming your EMG's have quick connects, the EMTY's will drop right in. Not sure on the 18v mod but I've read that Blackouts don't need 18v so it probably won't make any difference if you use 1 9v or 2. Longer battery life maybe????
Not sure what that means but you can scroll up and read posts from guys that say these don't sound like LP's (neither does a PRS IME) and the OP wants a "better LP". I'm just saying I'll take a regular Gibson LP over any of these copies anyday. If you think they offer better QC, frets, tops...
I don't know anyone that pays $4K for a Custom or $40K. You can get new CS LP Customs, R7's and R8's for $3K all day long and USA Traditionals for under $2K. Why spend $3-4K+ for bolt on look-a-likes that sound nothing like a LP when a LP is what you want?
I'm not saying Gibson doesn't make...
Ehh....I'll take a regular non chambered LP (USA or CS) over any of those doctor/lawyer guitars anyday. There's a lot of trying to reinvent the wheel that goes on in the gear industry and it's just not worth the $$$ IMO.
I think most people that flip gear just buy stuff to check it out. If they don't dig it, they flip it. It's not like these amps don't sound good or people can't get good sounds out of them but the only way to play most of these amps is to buy it. If you have the cash, who gives a...
I'm 99.9% sure he doesn't have this cab anymore. I just discovered this 3 year old thread and thought it was interesting that the Bogner cab was wired p/s when everyone says Bogner cabs come s/p.
