Sounds good, can't wait to get mine. The clips make the amp seem like it has such great articulation while still retaining good saturation. In my experience, VERY few amps have that.
I like the regular blackouts but I couldn't stand the emty version. They sounded the same way to me....thin, lifeless and shitty in general. I tried everything too. FWIW, I was using Mesa and Diezel amps at the time.
I still think there is something paranormal going on here. She didn't do it, you didn't do it so who did? A ghost. There is no reason to be logical about this.
I've owned all of the ones mentioned in the title as well as many others and the evh 5150III 4x12's are my favorite so far. The sound great for everything from classic rock to the heaviest of heavy.
You clearly have some kind of ghost or evil spirit in your home moving things and trying to ruin your marriage. I would start looking for a priest to perform an exorcism in your home asap. This is the only logical solution at this point.
The ED is badass especially w/ a boost. I'm wanting to play and hear the Royal Atlantic 100 they have coming out. I'm hoping it sounds like a gainier ED w/ more features and versatility.
I have yet to hear any clips or vids of this amp that sound good and I'm not picky about clips at all. Even the Marshall demo sucks and they usually make the amp sound better than it really is. :D
I think the amp looks good and has cool features but the vids of it aren't doing Marshall any...
Sounds real good. I didn't think it could clean up that well.
If you're ever bored or wanting to make another vid you should do a speaker comparison vid with the CCV. I would like to hear the CCV through different speakers for comparison. Heavy stuff of course.
The only think I didn't like about the two I had other than it saying Peavey on it :D is that it isn't quite as articulate as the big money/much talked about amps. Not that it's fuzzy or blurry because it isn't but it just doesn't have the articulation of say a Mark series amp or some of the...
I've had them both side by side and I greatly prefer the 6534+. It is an awesome amp. I play mostly modern metal and dabble in 80's/90's hard rock/metal. The cleans, the clean channel with the crunch pushed in and the lead channel are all much better than the 6505 or 6505+ to my ears.
