https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/KeyRig49/ Works great and is pretty cheap ($99). You can have a ton of fun with the just built in ProTools instruments, and a midi keyboard... and a...

Just some subtle nudges to lock it in. Do you have a midi keyboard controller... that's step one for the keyboards. M

Hey Bert, Yeah, it's coming along. Couple things you might want to try if you're still working on it. - Which DAW are you using? Might want to bust out your scissor tool, and edit the bass a little bit. Make sure when the bass and kick drum are playing at the same time, that they are dead...

Sounds great! If you get around to making some new clips. I've love to hear some with less delay. Everything sounds nice though!

At this point, you're better getting a clean bass signal into the computer, then messing with it "in the box". Then you don't accidentally mess up a good performance with a bad sound.

Well. It's gonna be pretty simple then. Plug straight into the front end of your Profire, and rock out! Just make sure that your level doesn't go into the red on the hardest notes... other than that you're good to go! Once it's in your DAW, you can mess with it a little bit. Depending on...

Sure... A) Do you have a bass? If (yes), what kind? B) Do you have a bass amp? C) What recording interface / mic-preamp are you using?

LOL! AH! Well that explains that! Then my next suggestion would be to add a bass.

I like your chunk tone when it comes in. 'Couple quick ideas that might help: -The bass could use some more bottom end, it will help it reach underneath and hug the bottom of the drums and guitars. -You might want to try tucking a snare sample underneath the snare. Since you're not recording...

    VH4 ~ Channel 2 discovered!

Yeah Man! Check my avatar. Love Ch2. I also found that using the Deep and Presence at lower settings helps Ch2 speak more organically. Especially low on the Deep.

Has every module already been done?

I would REALLY like something along the lines of a Matchless (Clubman or DC30). There's a bazillion Marshall type choices, but only the one Vox module.

Doh! What a shame. :aww: I worked on his record back in '01. He's such a funny dude, and a monster player. After playing my ol' PRS upside down, he put down the guitar, grabbed a bass, and was shredding slaps like John Patitucci.
