I had issues with mine, it was only working on one jack. Had to get a new one install, but it just doesn't sound the same, so I had an EVH authorized tech fix the original jack and put it back in.

So I got the EVH biased at 40ma, fixed the original speaker jack. Boy, it does make a difference. Here's a vid, my take on some 80s solos: 3h4fh8vm3ZI

The sad thing about this was Jan and the rest of Vixen had their differences for years. Only recently that they resolved their issues and they were all looking forward to reform, and she got cancer and died. Sad.

love the Planet Waves, very durable and sounds great :thumbsup: . George L are good but they are not very durable, breaks down easy.

I use an Xotic RC Booster. it's on all the time on my pedalboard. I'm not using it for more distortion but for a boost, it really does bring out more of the harmonic spectrum of the EVH. on the Green and the Blue channel, sometime I add an Xotic AC for a bit of that bluesy Carlton/Ford type...

I used to have the same guitar but with a TOM bridge in black burst. Congrats on nice score, they're really cool 7-string for the price point. I think it got a bad rap actually. How does it sound with the Nazgul?
