I think you should consider the Synergy 20IR... I know you've got the PT on the way but I just got the Snyergy and it is pretty awesome. A massive amount of cool modules for a fraction of the price of the unit. And the Syn20 itself has it's own clean channel and a lot of nice features.
I have noticed that fx does change the tone a lot.. which makes a clean amp that much more interesting to me... especially since I wouldn't need a loop.
Sounds good! I built the PedalPCB Face Melter and it sounds great.. has a hot rodded SD-1 type tone on the lower gain setting. IMO, the lower gain switch is like a hot rodded Marshall tone and the higher gain setting is like a Soldano. I've only used it with Marshall amps and that second gain...
Back in the early 90s he tried to pickup my best friends sister at a local club. She didn't know who he was so he went out to the limo and and signed a headshot for her and gave her his cd. She thought he was ugly and told him no thanks and asked me the next day if I knew who he was because...
This new Steel Panther pedal sure makes this clean amp sound good. Maybe my approach to tone has been wrong all these years? I need to try a clean amp and a good distortion like this one. It would solve a bunch of problems if it works.
And this has got to be the coolest looking guitar I've...
I've had the 20HR and 40CR and recently got the 1HR. I think the 1HR sounds the best.. probably because you can really crank the Master higher (in .1 watt mode) than with the 20/40. It's even cheaper and smaller than the 20 and perfect for the home. In 1 watt mode it gets way too loud in the...
@Bxlxaxkxe .. didn't you get this to run a wet/dry rig with your tube amps? How did that work out? I've ran mine in stereo with my tube amp return, letting the Katana be the main amp tone and it sounded nice but preferred it with another Katana in stereo.
It's good to see the gut shots of a Morris amp and see something that sounds so good doesn't have to be perfect on the inside... as I'm getting ready to build my first kit. It's a quality build for sure, but he doesn't make sure his leads are perfectly straight... and solders the ground bar...
They are doing something new that I've never seen before. They didn't delete this guys post or suspend him but gave a warning at the top of it that says
