    How Heavy can Einstein get?

Do you know how Godsmack gets those tones? I didn't think so or you wouldn't be asking. Any tone you've ever heard or will ever hear out of an amp and guitar can be duplicated with ANY tube amp. You give me a Bassman amp and I'll give you whichever tone you want. All it takes is first KNOWING...

Buying new amp... but which one?

Didn't you just answer your OWN question with the last paragraph? Get a Marshall if that's what you're after bro. I suggest a plexi and have it modded by David Bray and you'll be set. Now, if you really want a Diezel then get the Einstein. You have more than enough gain and to be honest who...

    Just got the Einstein

Damn, how could anyone sell an SLO? I won't rub it in but I'd never get rid of mine.

    Just got the Einstein

I'm keeping it, I love this amp so it's staying with me. It's the best sounding amp to me also. It's the Einstein and the SLO100 for me.

    Just got the Einstein

Oh, nono, you misunderstand. There's nothing I'd change about the amp's tone, NOTHING. I was being stupid thinking more footswitching options would be worth getting something else and that's why I asked which one had more mids so I could replace the Einstein with that but I'm not getting...

    All Things Kraut

Speaking of the pooch. Is Einstein the name of your dog? Those are pooch paws on the amp right?

    All Things Kraut

I love the German culture and everything about it and the way they build things. I'm about as far as you can get from German blood. hell, Hitler would've fried my ass. I'm Half Spaniard, Half Cuban but ever since I shot my first Luger and the first H&K rifle I knew Germans were cool. Then that...

    Just got the Einstein

The other Bogner I tried I shut off after 1 minute, I turned the treble down and it didn't help. The Ubberschall piece of crap, $3000 doorstop and it reminds me of the Engls. :jerkit: And it's weird because I love German anything..the history, the wwII, the incredible H&K firearms..the...

    Just got the Einstein

It's funny, it sounds a little scooped but it has a CREAMY tone to it that mostly comes with great mids. It's a strange amp and I can't compare it to anything else. Fender Prosonics and ToneMasters might have more mids than a MarkIV.

    Just got the Einstein

Right on thanks. I don't go for that whole "you have to tweak it" bs. An amp should sound great as soon as you plug into it of course given that you could play, you should be set within minutes (it's been my experience). I never had to tweak any of the classic amps for more than 4 secs. just...

    Just got the Einstein

Ah, I see. Thanks. May I ask why you're getting rid of yours? What didn't you like about it? I'm going to see if I could try a VH4 this week.

    Just got the Einstein

Well, here's the deal. I love the Einstein and it's the amp I've been looking for all these years and I don't want another Diezel that, comes close to it, more modern, clearer, chimmier etc etc I want "THE" Einstein with another channel and footswitch options. It has to have the Einstein...

    Just got the Einstein

AHHH fuck I hate Tool and all these new bubblegum bands of the last few years. I like bands that can play. I "H-A-T-E" modern anything on amps also. :gethim:

    Just got the Einstein

Yes but does it have the same voicing as the Einstein?

    Just got the Einstein

Alright, I said screw it and bought the Einstein Thur. and I've been glued to it since. I love the vintage voicing of the amp and have one question, which of the other 2 Diezel amps have the voicing and sound of the Einstein, Herbert or VH4? I love the vintage 80s sound and need an amp with...

Any plans for 50 watt or 100 watt versions of Herbert and VH4?

:|::QBB: I'm going to see if Guitar Center gets one in, meanwhile I'll try the Einstein again and again. Might just end up with that.

Any plans for 50 watt or 100 watt versions of Herbert and VH4?

:|::QBB: Christ NO I don't want to be Keith Richards..or play like him! So that's one person that says you have to crank it to get what you want out of it. I'm with you, I just can't fathom an amp with that much power sounding good at low volumes. In fact, I believe that's the reason...

Any plans for 50 watt or 100 watt versions of Herbert and VH4?

:|::QBB: No problem. I know how that is you always want to crank a great tube amp. Thanks for the info. I'll see if my Guitar Center could get a VH4 or Herbert in since I already tried the Einstein.
