That would be my guess. I'm pretty sure my RGA121 had that logo on it and it was a $600 guitar. There's no way the same guys who build the J-Customs built those too.
That's what I though, but why does Steve's J-Custom say Team J-Craft on it? Mine didn't and I always thought that was just something they put on Prestige models?
The J-Custom I had sounded like total ass. The quality was nice, but I would say Suhr and Anderson are slightly nicer IMO. And like Tommy said, he's asking about the Prestige guitars that just have the Team J-Craft logo on the back of the headstock and case.
Call them and ask if there's a "reward" for sending back the "one" extra system you got back. If they don't offer you anything other than their gratitude, keep all of them and make some money on them.
He's an insane technical guitarist. He plays nothing worth listening to though. His phrasing is terrible. No feel or melody. Vibrato isn't anything to write home about. He doesn't sound unique in any way. Yawn. I can't stand his playing.
His lead playing just makes me laugh. Congratulations, you can play faster than 99.9% of the population on Earth. Now go learn to play with some feel and emotion. He's one of the most boring shred guitarists ever IMO.
I've owned a Blackmore, Savage 120, Powerball, and Screamer. The Blackmore was by far my favorite. I thought it sounded way better than any of the others.
A friend of mine from another forum who lives in Norway bought one of Tom McDyne's GMW guitars about a while back. Had to have it shipped to me because Tom didn't want to ship overseas. Everyone in the band signed it and it came with some CD's and such.
He's always the guy I think of when people say tone is in the fingers. He's one of the best guitarists on the planet but has awful tone pretty much all the time.
