A much needed move too. You can't move in that place. It's like stocking a music store into a 400 sq ft one bedroom apt. And he's got a bunch of 412s and some serious heads on top of them. Some really sweet one off guitars too.
It's great. The AD was a great amp but it just didn't have enough gain. I had to push it with pedals and that just made it noisy and caused a lot of feed back. The RV has the exact tone I was looking for. Great clean channel, reverb and fx loop and tons of gain if I need it.
I had an MJM Britbender that wouldn't work at all with a Daisy Chain. Specifically a One Spot. It wasn't until I got my Furman powered pedal board that I figured this out.
I've delt with them a couple of times recently. He gave me a good deal on an Orange 412 cab and I just picked up a foot switch. I'm not sure what your issues with them are but, I can tell you he's in the middle of a big move and, if you're corresponding with him via email, he's been having...
Ever hear of a band Out of Orlando called Old Fashioned Beatdown? The guitar player is my brother. They spent a bunch of years in the Orlando area and had a pretty big fan base so they decided to take they're act to LA. My bro moved back to MA a few years ago. I guess it ain't easy in LA. All...
I have the Cantrell. I returned the Joe B for it. It has a sweep adjustment. I keep it rolled back about half way. That keeps me in the lower range Wah tone. It's supposed to act like a standard crybaby with this dial pinned. Still, no shrill highs, very throaty and heavy. I love it. I also want...
It's a Rockerverb 50 MKII. Two EL34s. They're at least 5, maybe 6mA apart. So it may not be a problem. Should I average them out? 1 at 40, one at 46, for example. Will that even make a difference?
I bought a bias probe from Eurotubes. i wanted to be able to check and bias my amp on my own. my local tech charges at Least $60. The directions that come with it say that you should only have to check one tube because they should be matched, therefore the same. I checked the bias on one tube...
Funny but I was never even the least but interested in this pedal. Until I played an actual Triple Recto. If it sounds anything close, it must be a great pedal.
I got a great deal on my Gold Top at GC. I had it on layaway. Two days later, the salesman started calling. He offered me all kinds of a discount if I came and got it. I held out for a while. Honestly, I didn't have the cash. When I was finally ready, I had an appointment with the salesman to...
What's Brad's? I'm in RI all the time.
I worked near the Daddy's in Dedham. I used to stop in there a couple times a week. I bought my Peavey Classic 50 212 at the Warwick store.
