Anyone know if the E2 will be available empty or do you have to buy modules?

From what I understand the E2 is designed to go in front and in the loop at teh same time. It either is bypassed to go through your amp front end or when you engage an E2 module the amp pre is bypassed and it goes straight to the loop return. Not sure any other preamp has this feature built...
