Michi - Here's the comparison you asked me for

I don't have one. I used to one, but never got anything like that from it. I don't even remember a H30 cab in there. But, now I'm curious again. Lol The local Sam ash has one and an SKB case for $400. Must resist.....

Michi - Here's the comparison you asked me for

So, what exactly did you do to your patch that makes it sound this good? This doesn't sound like a standard 11R clip.

    Pretty sad.

The term "starving artist" exists for a reason.

    3D-Like Cabinet(s)?

I was at Jamie's house and played my amp through one of his 312s. Sounded great. All his switchback cabs sound great. I'm looking to get one of the 112 switchback cabs. Heard it at an amp show and was amazed it was a 112.

    3D-Like Cabinet(s)?

I think a front loaded cab disperses sound better than a rear loaded cab, but maybe not as much bottom end. I had an old Legacy cab with GBs and V30s and it projected pretty good. Brighter, but also tighter as well.

This is the natural way. The other way is an abomination. It's what Pat Robertson would do.

    [BlendIR] New BlendIR Beta 0.9.2

The capture feature within Blend IR is really, really cool. Something happened at first that weirded it out, but after I restarted it, it performed great for many captures. I didn't get to try the target portion of the new release, but am pleased to see it implemented.

What new cabinets would you want?

Probably similar to most old greenback cabs you'll find. :)

Marshall amps has to be the most F'd up amp company

While I really, really like everything I've heard from Wizard (including being at an amp show like yourself and heard someone rocking one out, it was an experience), I'm kind of confused why there is an expectation that a $2600 amp should destroy a $4500 amp.

Mike Soldano talks about EVH's Marshall

No, you're playing a game. A troll game. You're the only one pretending no one has responded to the back of the amp. FACT: Nitro says VHI unmodded plexi with pedals. Thread over.

Mike Soldano talks about EVH's Marshall

Yes, 1978 came before 1986. Eddie wasn't using a Bradshaw racks when he recorded in 1977. It has nothing to do with it. So NOW we're getting to the truth. VHI was NOT modded. That is the one you are harping about over and over. Everyone here has shown you clips of plexi's getting that that...

Mike Soldano talks about EVH's Marshall

He didn't record the first album with a Bradshaw rack. Did you know he used more than one amp on tour? Really? Yeah, its true. First records, recorded tone. Focus.

http://forum.metroamp.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=15606&start=15 They are your words dude. 100%. So he told you there were no mods done to the amp, but at some other point he told you he put in a master volume which you conclude to as part of a gain increase mod, the latter you stuck too but not...

Cool story. It's cool you became friends. Jose seemed like a nice guy. Still no definitive answer, though. :(

Your "knowledge" on the subject is no more than anyone else's.

Yep, you've already made this claim and it's already been shown that a MV doesn't add gain in any way. The rest are assumptions on your part.

No, you don't know, you believe. Perhaps understanding what know means would be of benefit.
