They are both great... the direct out with the cab sims into a FRFR (PA) system is going to sound great and easy to tweak in the global Direct Out EQ if you make a patch on something different and need to adjust to a new speaker system. Stage outs with a Stealth gonna want a regular guitar...

^^^^ Both outs are great for doing different things... running direct you use the onboard cab sims and running stage, into a power amp and cab... can tweak each out separately with it's own EQ... it's a monster.

I figured... hooked it up as a 3x12 and it sounds killer, but I'm running an ISP Stealth... think I'll make it a 2x12 with 4 speakers until I can figure something out... Thanks for all the info!

Thanks for that... So, can I just leave the 'broken' speaker in the wiring and let the other three sound off? Or is there danger of something not working correctly if that little wire is disconnected? Just curious... Thanks!

Hey all, Wiring up some newly acquired speakers in a 4x12 and as I was sliding on the connector to the terminal, it bent a little and popped out the little wire connected directly to the speaker cone... I carefully re-inserted it into the hole that existed, but there's no sound... Did I kill...

Hey... got an extra 12au7 and wondered if putting it anywhere in the Mesa Mark V:25 would be a bad idea, or just stick to the 12ax7's... V5? I threw it in the reverb slot (v4) and effectively the reverb just disappeared... Just curious...
