Hey Monkey Man!
Thanks again for posting over on the Kemper forum... not sure what did it, but we jumped from 200 or so views to 1800 overnight... whoa!
Maybe that pipe dream of Kelly Clarkson hiring me is not so far off!!!!!
(Jeff Beck would laugh in my face, of course...)
Thanks guys!
Trey, the drummer wants to do some more like this... we've done some straight up covers, but hearing the original vocals over it was pretty exciting.
And thanks for sharing! You know, we laugh about Ariana hearing this and hiring us... but I said the same thing when I got to go...

My buddy Trey in KY sent the drum tracks w/vocals to me and said go crazy!
Then he mixed in the industrial bass line and slapped this vid together... growing up in a time when none of this technology was available, LOVE that an old friend from...
So... I just found a lovely X100... has the original packaging/boxes... sent her off to an AWESOME guy named Mike, who replaced all the caps, cleaned all the sliders, replaced the input gain, resoldered all of the joints... sounds JUST like I remember from the 80's!!! Woot! So much fun...
Bump!
Well, I found a Lexicon, but I'd still love to trade the CCD for a TC Electronic D-Two or M-One (not the XL version)!
Hit me up or make a cash offer!!!
And if you have a sweet Lexicon (even a PCM 41), I could add in an MXR Analog Chorus and an MXR Custom Comp, both minty and new!!! I'm guessing trade value around $90 for the Chorus and $80 for the Comp! Pics on request!
Lexicons make yourselves known!!! :)
Hey all,
Brand new, maybe an hour of use MXR Carbon Copy Deluxe. Box and papers...
Would LOVE to trade for a Lexicon unit of some sort like an LPX-1, LXP-15, MX300...
It was $230 new, so I'd do $215 shipped!
Give her a good home!
Awesome!
I was looking into a Galaxy Audio 4 way passive splitter, but it's not even $30... but hell, a simple Y-splitter is only $6!!!!
Got a local bead on a Lexicon LXP-1 with a controller... might trade my Carbon Copy Deluxe!
Woot!
Sir, that is FAR to simple an answer!!!!!
Don't you know that my time on the TGP boards demand not only HUGE answers, but angst, sarcasm, bitterness, and outright mockery???
Such disappointment... ugh...
:)
Hey all!
Does such a thing exist?
Firstly... thanks for all the info on pedals and loops... I'm in the process of letting all my pedals go and found a lovely SIMPLE old Lexicon MPX 110 (I used to have 100 years ago) and it's beautiful... only two effects at once, but still sounds amazing...
^^^^^^
Depending on how I route... if I stay with just the Combo using send/returns, maybe not (although, like you said, the digital effects might work better).
But, if I use the send on the Combo, to a Lexicon (I'm dreaming), to the powered 2x12, I can raise or lower the volume of the cab...
Well, might be done with pedals... found a few great ones, and then it seemed I needed to get a few more things constantly (EQ or a buffer, more patch cables, bigger board, etc)... what a lovely rabbit hole!
Flipped the line/instrument switch, took the line out from my Theta to the pedal, to...
I'll check into it...
In the morning, I'm going to switch the CCD to LINE input, plug it in from the line out on my Theta Rack Preamp, into the powered cab and see what the mix sounds like. If that works better, I might keep it...
I'm almost ready to sell all the pedals and the board and go...
