I have KPA and I think it's great, and I had an AxeFx Ultra and I thought it was great too. The AxeFx is cool, no bashing the product here. What people are goofing on is the Fractal marketing and product/firmware release strategy.

Yeah, a lot of subjectivity on how to get close to the C+. Gain wise, I think my red stripe gets me there; cleans and feel-wise is the where I see the delta.

I had an upgrade w/simul, geq, reverb, and an x-101 transformer. I sold it, got a loaded III red stripe, and couldn't be happier.

Re: jumping on the bandwagon, I've jumped. But I don't see it as a KPA vs [insert other amp/modeler/whatever]; there's plenty of room for everything. Why do I have choose only one solution? Im not dumping my beloved tube amps. My limiter is my wallet.
