Where they made them? do they had high end componets? Because right now in the market we have lets say 30 amp manufaturers and from those 70% use the same transformers brand, or capacitors or resistors, does Mako was using something different or was the same formula, like all the others?

thanks for the good information, I think the cabinet does not represent the value of the speakers they have, I bet these speakers would sound awesome or way better in a bottom oversize cabinet, like those stone age. don't get me wrong the cabinet sounds great but is not doing justice for these...

You know I have a emg 81 old don't know the year but I have that one for around 24 years and it was old when I got it used, has the cables Straight into the epoxy and it sounds great, not like the newer models where you can connect the 3 pin female connector.

You know what I played a FJA modded 5150 and it was the same not great sounding with tons of gain

I have a few rare amps and good ones but my favorites is the surreal and engl, I have for exmaple 1980 JMP modded morin amp also a diamond modded fortin that sounds great, have a CAE3+ preamp the purple edition suppose to be very early, I really dont know have it for 20 years, and few other amps.
