Yeah Alain is a good guy. I would grab one if I had free cash right now. I'm not a fan of the cosmetics of the blue one. From the gutshots he posted looks like he is using Sirius PCB for the main board and Headfirst for the additional boards. Having used boards from both of those companies there is a lot of possibilities for different companies to use the same boards and sound quite different.

Also, If I lived near Canada I would try to buy up some JSX's or VTM's and send them to him.

I just recently built an amp for a friend who had his amps stolen and Alex(Sirius amps) messaged me with some mods to try with Jason's board and it turned out great. So even if it doesn't check all of your boxes tonewise you(or someone else) could likely fine tune it quite easily.

I have yet to find what id consider a good demo of this amp.... these demos seem so spatty.
