I am contemplating selling my Framus Dragon. I *like* it but I have too many amps that overlap, but it's not a *love* thing. It's in great shape and if I sell it it will be FB Market Place or CL, I really really don't want to ship it.
My only hesitancy is that I don't know how hard it would be...
Ughhhh. EBay and reverb are going to hell with this kind of shit, nobody can be decent or honest any more and will exploit everything and everyone they have an opportunity to.
I would give him 48 hours to get you a refund, then go through and file a dispute. It sounds shitty but you have to...
100%. I love my Riveras. I have no idea why they are not more popular. The K-Tre is a badass modern metal amp, my K100 is great for rock and metal too, especially if boosted. And my Rivera Jazz Suprema has some of the sexiest cleans. FFS all rivera have great gain and fantastic cleans.
I have I think 8 MIJ (early 2000's) Jacksons and a USA Soloist. I love them and the MIJ stuff was $200ish a pop.
I upgraded the liscensed Floyd's to Gotoh or Schaller, got big brass blocks on all of them, swapped the pickups in a few, shielded them, upgraded the pots and switches. Best...
The mode switch on the back has been my last bit of exploration. There is a 'polished 1' , 'polished 2' , and 'raw', the polished sounds very musical and fluid, but I love the raw because of the massive amount of chunk to the voicing. I am using the 'tight' position on the second channel instead...
I will get a clip up. I screwed around with the settings and a few of the switchs a bit and found some awesome tones. I need to get in touch with him to see exactly what the mods do.
But it's got probably on of the most aggressive chunk tones out the box
Thanks bro. I am excited to see what I can coax out of it.
I am really interested and actually see what the mods do and how it sounds dialed in. There are a lot of settings and shit to try, but I have not gotten around to all of it.
I don't really post NAD ever but
Got this in trade for an Engl Powerball. The Powerball was not my thing. It was decent, but I don't trust Engl to be reliable and did not want to go into something with a failed amp down the line that I can't reasonably repair.
I got a Mesa Stiletto Ace that...
I got rid of my MKIV. It needed a lot of work in the near future and I found a buyer who was willing to take it in knowing 100% that he was getting into. Mine had the brown caps, but weren't leaking yet, needed a few pots swapped (deoxit would not do it), needed some new sockets and had an issue...
There are better routes to take with your current gear.
Don't waste money on the micro terror. Especially not with an 8" speaker in that Orange cab.
What are you looking to do exactly? What is your budget?
I have three acoustic kits, getting rid of two of them in the near future. I don't really have the ability to play as much since my spine is really messed up, but the one kit I will always hold onto. I do have an awesome cymbal stash though that is not going anywhere
