Keith's music is definitely awesome. I don't check my facebook often, but anytime I see him post one of his vids on it I check it out. 8)
I just noticed after watching the posted vid that Keith's also posted a Kemper vid:

You've got a good amp. It sounds like you may have good luck with an overdrive pedal to kick things up a notch. There are many out there, but most are variations of either the Ibanez Tubescreamer or Boss SD-1. I prefer the TS pedals and use one with my Marshall JMP, but some prefer the SD-1. If...
Eh... I admit I don't know too much about the exact situation that's occurred, but paying a deposit to have an amp built for you is absolutely nothing at all like putting money into stocks. It doesn't matter what happened with the money; if money was put down and no product was received and the...
Yep. The power cord definitely is part of the deal. Did the DB seller not get a power cord with the amp when he first bought it himself? And assuming he got the footswitch along with the amp, the same goes for it. Would anyone buy a new amp at Guitar Center or anywhere else without a power cord...
Even though Kirk's much less talented than Reb, I prefer the solos on Ride the Lightning to anything I've ever heard from Winger, but that may only be two songs, so who knows? :D
I did the pause thing with Google and saw it had info stored at least as far back as 2010. :D
Would people here suggest trying to totally delete youtube and google accounts?
Also, is there a privacy surfing setting for IE?
Thanks!
I posted about getting one before reading your post. :D I don't know that an 8 will take too much more getting used to than a 7 but could be wrong. I just don't want to get a 7 and then regret not having that one more string soon after. :D
Yep. 8) Been diggin' 'em for a while, though I admittedly prefer the first ablum except the guitar tones. I've been doing a lot of listening to music involving major downtuning and am thinking about getting either a 7 or 8 string from Rondo ( http://www.rondomusic.com/8StringGuitars.html )...
IMO, other than the amp's master volume, you'll probably not find anything better to simply increase the volume than an eq pedal in the loop if the amp has one. A Micro Amp might work well, too, though I've never used one and have only read about them. I owned an OCD for a bit and liked it as a...
Cool, and it's been a long time since I've heard a clip of yours, but nice as always. How do you think it compares to the original sound?
I've also wondered how these things can take a boost pedal or if the amp's sound can be profiled boosted and come out sounding about the same with the...
I believe you're on the right track with using a ts for a boost with the gain pushed in. That's how I run mine. I think the gain pulled makes mine sound thin and sterile while the ts tightens it up without hollowing it out too much. It's also worth trying through different power sections.
If possible, I'd go with the opposite character -- the Splawn and el34's, which should have a different mid-emphasis to help in cut and compliment. If you have an eq pedal, you can always bring it along to throw in the loop in case a little more tweaking might help.
