Yeah gotta agree, I watched the whole thing waiting for this supposed schooling and came away wondering how anyone could even use that word in regards to anything in that vid.
I saw 2 phenomenal players jamming , doing their thing and having fun...

I was at that show ( I also lived 2 blocks away, less than a 3min walk LOL) I always liked White Lion/Vito but my personal opinion is that he bit off of EVH a littl too much for my tastes. Not that I didnt like what he was doing, I just didnt find him original or unique. The one cool thing was...
I too know Tom personally and hes a friend. All that aside, the guy is a consumate professional, crazy passionate about his company and products and bends over backwards to accomodate his clientele; His customer service and desire to see anyone who purchases them satisfied should be a benchmark...
Thanks Rob, The scallops are definitely an acquired taste. Theyre not for everyone and theres a bit of a learning curve for sure. Ive been digging them alot but I also find myself thinking that I may be better of with regular necks.... I keep going back and forth on it..
I cant wait to hear...
Meh, relevence is subjective IMHO. Granted, I havent been incredibley thrilled with everything that hes put out in the last 20 but that doesnt change the fact that hes an amazing player and songwriter or that he continues to inspire me and others. Im going to remian positive and hope for the...
No extras but I may be willing to part with one of the necks on the guitars pictured( thinking about the relicd black one as wel as the non reliced black one)
Bro, poly is a bitch, its friggin bulletproof. Your daughter could be an 800lb gorilla on a steady diet of steroids and she'll barely make a dent. You need a heatgun for that stuff or HOURS of brutal sanding with 36 grit. Ive seen poly laugh at the harshest chemical strippers as well, they dont...
LOL just be careful!!! I was cracking up because Ive recieved so many compliments on the reliced guitars. The black one was my son and I kicking it around the street for awhile and the sunburst was done after a nice buzz off of some fine Texas Blue Corn Whiskey. I didnt do it all at once though...
Thanks Chad, Im loving the singles and Ive been wondering why I havent used them for all of these years... Going forward, I dont think that Ill ever use anything but an Area 67 in the middle and an Area 61 in the neck on any guitar from here on out...
Thanks Carl, For me, theres a certain feel that is pretty cool but youre right in the end, the hassles outweigh any percieved benefit for the most part. Im still not entirely sure LOL!!!
Just got this one finished up and it turned out really nice!!! It started life as a total cheap beater Fender HRR strat. I reliced it over time using the Whiskey method; Drink and then abuse the guitar with whatever was around which in this case was a heatgun and and a Kabar knife.
The neck is...
Congrats.... I think Vinnie is an awesome player and a great guy but He hasnt wowed me with UFO. Id love to see him pay a bit more homage to Schenker in his interpretations of UFO tunes but thats just me nitpicking..
Its all good man, You get props from me just for going back and relistening and the coming back here and changing your postion a bit
