Yeah I'm looking forward to it. According to the seller the MAK 4 is loaded with new JJ's (which from what I understand is what Andrew intended it to be paired with) and the VHT with new Tung Sols.
And it's the V2 so it should be less noisy than the V1's
Awesome! I just bought a Mak 4 with a VHT 2502 so I won't have to run it through my head after all, but I'm going to test it out anyway and see how it compares. I can't wait for it to get here.
If by some chance I find one of these used can I run it through the power section of my mark IV? Just though the effects loop?
Are there disadvantages to doing this?
So a Hagen popped up in driving distance on craigslist but its listed for $3200. That seems pretty steep to me. What's the used market for these like?
Would it be wrong to say this is a more metal oriented VH4? Is a VH4 worth the extra cash?
I've been debating if I should get one of these. You mentioned volume restrictions, how does it do with low volume play? I'm considering this or a mako mak 4 or something. Everyone seems to love these. Pretty versatile with three usable channels?
So I'm left handed but have always played guitar right handed. I don't know if that has anything to do with it but my right hand has always felt so slow and uncomfortable when trying to play fast. Any tips on improving right hand technique and speed?
