Manlius Hot Rod 59. I went through so many pu's throughout the years. Couldn't believe the difference when I tried the Hot Rod 59.

Blackened steel would look great on that body (similar to what's on some of the Luxxtone models)

Check out the Nitro series Charvels. The necks are beefy but very comfortable. They are 21 fret necks so that may or may not be an issue.

I just received a Morris '69/70 Muscle. This is based off of a old Marshall tremolo. I've heard this amp described as the single channel version of the Perplex'd, however when talking w/ Glen Morris he stated the '69/70 is more raw than the Perplexed. I've only played the '69/70 at low volumes...

I'm not familiar w the citizen gain, but you may want to check out the Morris 69/70' amp. Raw Marshall sound w great master volume. This amp has me very interested...

That amp sounds great. How does it feel to play? Some amps deliver so much more in the way they feel which can't be articulated in clips...

I'd jump in line for that type of mod. I have a 2204 modded by Cameron that sounds incredible and nothing has come remotely close to peaking my interest. But this amps tone is inspiring to say the least! Consider me on the list if you offer this mod!
