Hmm. Every clip I've heard with this thing sounded great. Maybe it's the mod that's causing the issues :confused:

If you can crank it, that thing rocks! I'm beginning to realize this with most Marshall amps I check out, with the exception of the VM. IMO, that thing sound good at all volumes :rock:

Definitely sounds like it to me I feel like anytime someone wants to send you more than the asking price, it's most likely a scam. This guy is trying to send you $1700 more than the asking price, which is an immediate red flag to me.

I'm quickly realizing that the green channel with the crunch engaged is where it's at with this amp. I also love how responsive this amp is to your picking attack.

Sweet! I've decided to be patient and wait for the next one in decent shape to be posted under $400. Hopefully I won't have to wait too long.

This is what I was looking to try if I didn't jive with the straight G12T-75s - mix them with some V30s. Also, do you mind posting your DSL settings? I'm still working on finding that sweet spot with the EQ to get both channels to sound how I'd like them to.

I'm looking to pick up a new cab for my DSL. There are a few on CL that are in the $400-$450 range, but I'm looking at an hour drive just to go test them out. Reviews seem good overall, but some complain that the highs are quite harsh, which doesn't seem like a good mix for the bright DSL. I...

I guess a lot depends on your style of music, but I always felt that learning Gilmour leads helped my vibrato. He does those gradual full bends with a smooth vibrato at the top of the bend that I love. Practicing my vibrato with bends really helped out.
