If you can crank it, that thing rocks!
I'm beginning to realize this with most Marshall amps I check out, with the exception of the VM. IMO, that thing sound good at all volumes :rock:
I went through the same thing. All of a sudden in just had an itching for a nice Strat. Got the Am Deluxe with the V-neck and I absolutely love it :thumbsup:

I feel like anytime someone wants to send you more than the asking price, it's most likely a scam. This guy is trying to send you $1700 more than the asking price, which is an immediate red flag to me.
I'm quickly realizing that the green channel with the crunch engaged is where it's at with this amp. I also love how responsive this amp is to your picking attack.
This is what I was looking to try if I didn't jive with the straight G12T-75s - mix them with some V30s.
Also, do you mind posting your DSL settings? I'm still working on finding that sweet spot with the EQ to get both channels to sound how I'd like them to.

I guess a lot depends on your style of music, but I always felt that learning Gilmour leads helped my vibrato. He does those gradual full bends with a smooth vibrato at the top of the bend that I love. Practicing my vibrato with bends really helped out.
