Yep, these settings sound about right for Herbie`s channel 2+ as well. You don`t need much that much gain for Tool, I would say no more than 2 o`clock.
I honestly think switching to the second channel on plus mode will get you the thicker sound. The third channle is much more scooped sounding and tailored to cut through for leads. Try it by recording a comparison.
 Thanks Olaf! Good to see that Steavens is back in Business! I`ve only had the chance to hear a Steavens once and it sounded great! Hopefully somebody will buy one and post clips soon...
LMFAO!!!      "It`s a one of a kind Cutom Vigier Custom with "California only" customized arm relief, only one that has ever been made available only in California, U.S.A." You should think about swapping the neck in order to make it a "triple custom" though...
+1 All my guitars are just like tools: They serve the purpose of being played. So whatever needs to be done for me to play it better, I do it. Nevermind the resale value bla bla...
I know the seller personally and he`s not full of shit. I`ve also heard the amp and it sounds amazing, but just like any other VH4. I guess he didn`t get the amount he wanted in previous auctions (I`ve only seen it on ebay once though) and is relisting it after waiting out for sometime, don´t...
Man, all your guy`s rigs are exceptional! Incredible really! I have to give special props to ENDITOL though: Fairly simple, only the best of the best and very clean and tidy -> extraordinary job!

Yup- just like inheriting (possible) assets you are also inheriting your parents debt should they have some left over. You can get around this by declining, but I guess the aforementioned contracts cover that.

A friend of mine who is a real estate agent in Oregon has people signing up for loans with a duration of 100 years on a regular basis.
Congrats on the house Chris!
