Boost Pedals for Marshall’s, what’s great?

Burnley also sounds great into if you wind up the gain and master and use the low input of the 800. Also sounds killer in front of a plexi!

    Desperate cry. I’m done.

Hang in there. How much is your rent and how much are you behind? Maybe take any lower paying job to have some income until you land that better job? Regarding debt and medical, do you communicate with them procatively? Most often debt collectors, particular medical bills can be staved...

    Friedman Jose First Impressions

Right right right... this must have been a typo or a brain fart? " You have your opinion of the amp and that won’t change no matter what and that’s cool. " Enjoy your pedals and your amp..

    Friedman Jose First Impressions

Glad you like it and thanks for posting the clip. Yes to each his own and clips are not really a basis for a final verdict, but can be a good indicator of what an amp sounds like in the room. Did you miss this part of my post? "Maybe dialed in different and in person would change my mind...

    Friedman Jose First Impressions

That sounds a little better. I can't stand modern metal and would like to hear the Friedman/Jose set up in an attempt to sound like a Plexi. From my experience, no amp does Marshall better than Marshall. Although some of the clones such as Suhr, Metro, Germino and PLEX do sound quite good to...

Cantrell’s Live Rig In The Mix

I was just thinking about that and still feel bad for putting it that way.. It was kind of dickish sounding thing for me to say, but it was well intended. Hawkey did a similar thing to me a couple years prior. LOL. I had recently gone through a Mesa phase, (triaxis/290. Mark IV etc. I...

2k for both is about right.

I have yet to hear a clip of this amp that makes me even remotely interested in buying one.

ran into Jdub at Rush tribute last night

Thanks but I fly out tomorrow. Do you know a guy named Rob Schreiner. He is an old friend and tells me he plays some open blues jam but not sure which one and I lost contact with him. Thanks

ran into Jdub at Rush tribute last night

Sweet. My son and I were supposed to go to Sandy's yesterday with one of his friends at zero dark thirty but got home late after the show and felt like sleeping in. Went to Sunset today. Flat and beautiful but great weather and swimming with the grand kids. Hope Kage finds the Aloha in his...

That was great seeing you Pat. Thanks for sharing your Aloha spirit!! Cheers bro!! I fly out tomorrow but if we come in town will try to swing by Dan's Guitars in Honolulu. I remember him from that one NAMM show back in maybe 2006 when some dude just handed me like 10 ten tickets to see...

    Bogner Uber Ultra questions -again

Volume jump switching to crunch is normal. The popping when switching between masters happened intermittently and iirc only if the loop was on.

What’s the optimum weight for a Les Paul? And is there such a thing as too heavy?

My experience has consistently led me to prefer lighter LP. The wood is drier and resonates better. I have had Norlin's Custom at over 12lbs and currently have a 68 Reissue that is unicorn light at 7pounds 13 ounces. It is the best Les Paul I have owned. (about 30 over the past 4 decades) I...

    Budda SuperDrive 45

I have played Budda amps before and I do think they are a quality amp, but as others have said they are smooth and dark sounding. I have heard some people rave about them, but still, does not have that characteristic Marshall toothy snap and snarl.
