Great amp. Not versatile, it can be dialed for one thing at a time. The Kitchen Sink would be better for versatility. That said, it kicks ass. The clip is the only one I had, and had a Phase 90 on it.

This was my finding as well. I had the amp for a year, and I A/B’d it with other amps I had and that boxy midrange was very prevalent.

The obvious thing would be the SL 67 on the Suhr cab, but I agree with Suhr, who prefers the amp with Greenbacks, so it currently sits on a Marshall 4 x 12 with Greenbacks.
