The acoustic tone is fat. The bridge pickup is ass. The wiring is a rats nest. It's a preference too.

Before: Happy with stock amps and boosting to get what I needed. Aftwr: Friedman and Bogner but that's long gone and I'm back to stock amps and boosting.

I've always preferred the look and I have an old Faber ABR that I want to use on this one

I was actually thinking of getting the Red, too. There's so many options out there. That Revv G3 is sweet. But the Bogner has all the options on it plus mid control (which the BE lacks). I'll probably buy one, return it then go from there that way

I've done the Rat and OCD route on the Twin I used to have. So far, I'm digging that Revv G3. I'm also thinking of getting a DRRI for the lower headroom and edge of break up thing then boosting it with either the BE OD, TS or Revv.

I actually saw one used for 450/500 on either Reverb or eBay the other day. I might grab it.

So between 2000 and 3000 is reasonable it sounds. I've never played an SLO aside from the XR88 and I wanted to ditch my BE Mod so quick when I played that Amp. So how different is the hot rod from the SLO?
