Ok, that's where my confusion came from...None of my processors have spdif connections. They're older pieces of gear. Well, I guess I won't be using them "after" the TS when using the spdif connection-which I prefer at the moment :lol: :LOL! As always, thanks for the help ;)

Hey guys, I've used the "FX after the loadbox" method when I was using the analog outs of my TS, but don't understand how I'd make the connections to use this method if I'm using the Spdif In/Out...is it even doable? :confused: Thanks, Craig

Ok, got it working with help from Sweetwater :thumbsup: I needed to change routings in Focusrite's mix control-which the Sweetwater tech agreed is not the most intuitive- and input routing in Reaper. Another step up the learning curve ladder :lol: :LOL: :rock: Thanks again for sending me in...

Good points, thanks again. I definitely need the "feel" when I track so I've been monitoring the effects and not printing as I've been concerned about printing effects that I may not want as much of etc as the track takes shape. Ahhhhh...too many options LOL Would you mind elaborating the pros...

Ok...would it be "better" to connect/use the external FX processor the "studio" way with the Torp Studio, or to connect/use that same FX processor to my audio interface?
