Since you asked I will answer:
Here is just one of my many "rigs", it's an exact copy of Jerry Cantrell's DIRT era touring rig. Sounds pretty good for a solid state power amp:

If you guys like me please vote that they are cheap ghetto rigs.
In the mean time here is a mean lunch box amp that is loud enough for rehearsing with a band.

This setup ended up sounding amazing, it was just thrown together spur of the moment Mark and I just grabbed whatever was in front of us:
Mesa DRG head with NOS tubes and Mark Cameron prototype boosted pedal, delay and reverb run through a power station and 2 4x12 cabs. Fully loaded long head...
Which Number is it? I bet it's 30-34 after 35 they were blue.
They sound way different than the newer VH4's but everytime I would point this out people would get upset over that fact.
In real life Hetfield is not a.... never mind
Lets just put it this way Hetfield himself said in a recent interview if you knew a lot of things he did you would not like him.
After St. Anger I just couldn't identify with them anymore... Death Magnetic had like one or two ok songs and then...
I totally forgot as a musician or "music aficionado" when a small time young artist all of a sudden blows up and becomes huuuuge and wins a bunch of Grammies you have to do either of these two things:
1. You have to totally go against the grain. You know call the artist a hack and not talented...
Not to derail the thread, it was actually Mailman who asked me to post this but when are we going to a dudes and gear thread?
You know we were just curious how the many men of this forum looked like...
No Homo. :scared:
An amp could be worth tens of thousands maybe even millions to the right person. Look at Ronnie C. I believe one of his old posts said he was offered 5k for his Snorkler back in the 90's. He didn't even consider selling it because he knew that amp has made him close to a million if not millions...
Did you get the green tiger that was up on Ebay? That one was awesome I wanted it.
Anyways I think the early to late 2000's there was some amazing guitars on Ebay and some crazy artist owned gear that showed up and went cheap by todays standards. Pretty much 5k or less would get you a dream...
More power to you Mr. Mail Man!
I'm sure a bunch of angry parents from our parents generation(Boomers) would be making threads based upon "the stupid amount of money my son or daughter is spending on stupid video games."
Wasn't directed at you at all, TJ.
I was just talking about how there seem to be more threads bitching about the price of a piece of gear instead of a thread discussing and reviewing a piece of gear.
Imagine a forum where every thread complains about the cost of an item. No actual discussion...
That's not what this forum is or was about "sticking out your neck" to share about a piece of gear. This is Rig-Talk you.know a forum about gear not bitching about prices of gear.
It's like the New Zealand gun forum where an American joined and posted pics of his AR15 and got ridiculed for...
These will sell out and they will have no problem selling them.
I get it if they priced these at what they are and they sit on shelves for years like some one off Jackson or Charvel custom creations. Then by all means trash them.
I honestly would like to hear someone who buys one of these...
