So I’ve had this a good while now but haven’t posted it here.
Finally after almost 10 years of searching I’ve got my paws on one of the rarest Diezel heads.
It’s basically the same amp Adam Jones has been using since 96.
The only difference is for some reason Peter used a shiny polished looking face plate.
The transformer caps are actually blue in it.
As far as tone goes compared to other vh4’s I’ve owned....
This amp needs to be cranked to sound good, you really need to have the speakers moving hard!
I also have a newer vh4 and the newer one sounds good at comfortable levels and loud levels.
When I turn both vh4’s up loud the 96 swallows the newer vh4, it’s very full and open.
That being said both amps are incredible and Peter is an absolute genius.
