I threw a foxrox cc hybrid fuzz on the clean channel and it sounds great for hendrix tones...can use the volume to get a cleanish tone with a tad of grit. I would say it takes pedals very well and is an excellent platform to build on.
Congrats on the new amp you will love it
BE100 = best amp I've owned and I've owned a boatload of them.
I haven't changed tubes yet and normally would have jerked the JJ's.
It sounds so good as is I am going to stick with ARS branded JJ as Dave reccomends.
I personally like the BE channel better than the HBE...too much gain on the HBE...
I have a question for Dave: is the BE-100 footswitch a latching or momentary switch?
I'm looking for a smaller box to replace mine with and wonder if the mission TT switches or similar will work with a TS cable to the amp?
Seems like a way to save a bit of pedalboard space if possible.
Please...
I need lessons from the master on how to keep get spousal approval...can you throw me some tips Rob?
Nice Wizard! I saw a The Darkness show on axstv recently and Dan Hawkins was using a MC100. Sounded great.
I had a similar hand surgery for a repetitive strain injury about 8 years ago. It hurt and took a long time to heal. You will be fine just make sure it heals and listen to the doc. Good luck.
I did and it really rocks.
I had an early marsha and i swear the be-100 sounds better.
The marsha had to be cranked to sound good and had more noise.
I hated to give up the cameron atomica to get the brown eye, but it was the right choice.
I love the simple clean too...sounds great!
Rock on!

Koko all the way too here...any OD type pedal will add some gain and or extra mids...Koko just adds volume and a bit of tightening overall.
The old Rockett copper boost is a good one too...very expensive if you can even find one now...don't get the lemon aid...not the same.
