I have been using bassons for 8 yrs now playing out many shows with them, recording with them, I have run diezel herbert/vh4,splawn nitro/quickrod, vht pitbull, peavey 6505+,line 6 bogner,mesa triple rec,diamond phantom and nitrox,marshalls,and a few others thru them. They are excellent cabs...

i just play around with diff brands in each socket, now i have all mesa tubes in it two of the super clean ones in v1 and clean and mesa el34s for power. Their are only a few tube manufaturers dont get caught up in names most are relabled, i use mesa tubes in both diezels 1, the dealer is close...

mid range... could be your speakers... 6l6s have a cleaner bite less sizzle than el34s, i tried em in herbert. also preamp tubes change your sound a lot.But for me it was my cabinet not letting the mids rip, change your speakers or cab, and you will change your sound.

He had the new line 6 head w tubes. It only had 2 12ax7s I swapped out both n problem gone. I also had the same problem w Herbert but it was time so I did all the tubes n feedback was gone. I'd try each one hard to tell. But if its in gain maybe the gain stage tube.

i just fixed a head yesterday for a guy, with aweful feedback it was preamp tubes, changed them and feedback gone! give it a whirl....

May I ask why you are having a problem, I run many diff guitars thru herbert and vh4, esp the emgs in my les paul, i use no noise gate. have no problems!

you run a delay in front of distortion? never had luck with that..... I think im gonna go for the new line 6 m9 with my vh4.... the other rig is herbert and nitro, rjm switcher, rack wah, rack tuner,hard wire delay in loop, h20 chorus,hyperphase,boss trem, voodoo microvibe b4 amp... all thru...

a univibe, wah? lagging in presets...seams to be a constant gripe on this unit.I figure if you put it in there make it right....just like many other products, is there any be all end all for fx, hell im still looking.
