Genuine switchcraft is the way to go. I am constantly replacing many of these crappy closed switches on my bench each week with guitars that are coming in for repairs.
I'm gigging and rehearsing regularly. Like everyone else, I used to slug cabs and heads and large pedalboards. I now leave that at home. I switched to the FM9T2 and use my FM3T as my backup. No issues thus far and everything sounds great and super easy to use.
I’ve had a bunch of them over the years but for me, the OX wins every time for function, features and sound. The greenback emulations they use are amazing.
I remember ordering from columbia house and seeing this wicked album cover thinking it should be a great metal album! (I had no idea who they were)
Boy did I get a surprise!!!!
Nothing! I am a tech and do them myself. I've learned from several up here who are considered the best of the best. They taught me well! I'd have to verify how many we have done per year at the store....I am thinking in the neighbourhood of 25-30 perhaps but it may be more? A small portion...
That is a beautiful looking Ibby!
Evolutions can be zingy in the bridge. I mean, they work but I didn't like them as much. The neck pickup is good though.
I can suggest a few to check into that I have used before with success:
-Evo 2 bridge
-Gravity storm bridge and neck
-Utopia bridge...
