Have the drummer practice ahead of time with a metronome into his headphones so he can get used to it. No point in having his first time with a click in the studio. Give him some time to get used to it.
I got those too. I could have had any 5 year old iPad or random set of handguns I wanted for it.
Strangely, I was able to move quite a few unused guitars as well as the amp within a few weeks on CL, at reasonable prices, without too much fuss. I was shocked.
After he finished collecting all of his bees he said "I'm supposed to get my tax return later tdoay" I was convinced I'd never see him again. But later that evening, he called and showed up with the cash.
His wife was with him. She looked less than thrilled that he was buying it. I just...
I'm not real good on differences between all of the metal genres, but I thought this was as good a place as any to share my pain.
A few weeks ago, I had a guy come to try a 5150III I was selling on CL. The guy had never used a tube amp before, so I spent some time with him, showing him the...
If I remember correctly, James had to get permission from the company that does this particular style of camo to approve his use of it. I can't remember where I read it, though.
I'd be interested in what ESP would have to say about using the trademarked logo on a guitar for another customer.
Also, I'd considering talking to Studio Gears.com about the guitar. I have no personal experience with the ESP custom orders, but I've read online about specs being incorrect...
It made a difference to me.
I use the same gauge strings on the baritone as I do on the 24.75. I'm using EB .012-.056. The guitars came stock with .013-.058(I think) from LTD, but since I'm essentially tuning the baritone up 1/2 step, I figured it was worth keeping with the 12s.
It wouldn't...
I have two LTD baritones, which are 27". I also have a Warmoth conversion neck which is 28.625 (5/8)".
My band plays in C standard, and my typical guitars are 24.75" scale. I wanted something for recording open string parts that had a bit more tension. For me, the 28.625" was a bit too long...
I've never been let down by a 400 series or higher LTD. I have an early 2000s MH-301 (Korean) which was really nice, but all of the hardware needed to be upgraded. I currently have a EC-401b (Eclipse baritone) which was made in China which also surprised me in a good way.
I've had the...
I have a KSR Artemis and I'll just add that I've noticed that the play between the low EQ knobs and the bottom control of the power amp (whatever he calls the opposite of the presence) has a lot to do with how tight the bottom end is. And it varies greatly between the cabs I've used it with.
I'm in it for the chicks.
Well the serial is under the clear coat. That's why I assumed it might be a refinish or a refurbed guitar. I doubt ESP would sell a refurb as new.
It could also be just fulfilling an existing order for ESP Standards and the customer wouldn't accept E-II. Who...
