I dig the red T! You guys are a tough crowd. One little suggestion- I think it'd tie the whole look in nicely if the little headstock shelf was either body color (red in the case of the red T) or pick guard color (white for the black guitar). Then make the logo chrome like the hardware.

I haven't noticed- this Silversmith has real full bass.

The Hotplate line out sounds quite dark. I dunno why. The difference between that line out and say, the Suhr line out box is big.

Ya the Goldsmith is more amp-like overdrive, kinda Marshall-ish (think Bogner Blue) and this one is higher gain, sharper edge/full range (like the tone of a 5150 or something?).
