Different strokes and all,
I love mine still..
almost a year ddr and I keep loving it more and more.
btw FRFR here
I was running FRFR and stereo tube amp with speaker cabs, but it didn't make so much difference that I couldn't live without the tubes and cabs.
Steve,
Is there a reason you are using shared tone stacks?
I know it would be a lot more work, bigger chassis etc, but that is the major shortcoming (IMO) on so many channel switching amps.
Mark Cameron told me there is a pedal called a PQ3 (I think) that he likes. I think he said it was an older pedal not made any more, but he said he liked it as much as the furman (IIRC)
I told him I had never heard of it, but I am sure he knows better than me.
I am 41 and had 160 to 170 over 100 to 110 around a year ago, my doc wanted to put me on meds and even got indignant with me when I wouldn't take them. She told me I wouldn't be able to lower it because most people can't. Well I did and just like jdub said, diet and exercise (and very little to...
From what I was told, if you are under 130 and 85 you are in an acceptable range.
The doc told me yesterday that from 85-92 your life expectancy is lessened 7 years!?!
Mine was 128/90 today..I need to work on it a bit, yesterday it was 122/82...I don't know why it fluctuates like that ...
I hear ya, and I realize all that. Just seems the SLO preamp is optimized for the power section of the SLO. To me you wouldn't really know what you would be getting in the end if you just drop a different preamp the existing amp, where as a mod from someone like Dave would be a complete tweak...
Awesome band..I saw then in the 90's live and like JT said..Tom had a brace. I have heard so much crap about Tom..I guess he was a major dick to work with.
