Thanks for the responses.
I've heard that Soldano/Jet City loops are only really designed for line level rack gear also. Can anyone comment on that? Or if it's easy to mod it to run at instrument level.
Is the Jet City/Soldano's loop tube buffered? I know the 5150's one is but I found it...
In my opinon...
EMG with 18v mod = Blackout (Similar, not exact)
Except EMGs have better cleans, especially with the 18v mod, it's the most noticable difference.
So, I've been roaming the internet trying to find info on amps, since I'm buying one probably on Saturday, if not next week.
The Soldano/Jet City loops seem to get really mixed reviews, some peple loving them and some hating them.
There seem to be two issues with the loops on these amps...
Thanks for the advice.
I didn't crank either of them, but I did notice that the Jet City sounds much... bigger at any volume, on both channels, the Blackstar sounds to me like an amp after recording, it almost felt like I was listening to the recording of the amp rather than being in the room...
Considering how much money Fractal are making and how there isn't really - that - much competition, unlike Best Buy, I don't think they're in a position where they feel they have to employ an upgrade policy.
Ooh, interesting, I'm more into boosts/soft OD so I may look at the Dual.
That Brunetti looks sweet! I really want a 415 cab, I'd love 2x12+1x15 cab in a 412 syle cabinet.
Thanks for chipping in. My understanding, based on reports of reliability and so on is that the HT-100 (and the 60, 40, etc) have a lot more complicated parts, especially the channel/voice switching systems that can break down sometimes. Lots of microchips in there.. I prefer solder and caps!
The Blackstar.
I went to the shop yesterday and got to A/B the Blackstar HT-100 with the Jet City 100 watt. The cleans in the Blackstar are great, and although the 'base tone' of the Blackstar's OD channels aren't as authentic feeling as the Jet City, they still sound great and there's so much...
I think I will get a used one, although they're pretty cheap new, and apparently they're very well built and sturdy. My bassist has the Bass big muff pi and I think it sounds pretty good, little trebbly but I guess that's what to expect. He got his really cheap used, too. Feels really sturdy too.
I'm looking to use it for stuff like this: I'll also use the phaser I think since apparently it's quite like a univibe, the fixed wah would be cool, I prefer that over an expression wah since my drummer is lending me his for practices/gigs.
1:45 is when the trem starts.

Thanks for the bump.
I think since I can't try one out I'll have to buy one, they're pretty cheap used on Ebay so I think I'll go for that option, I'm not fussed about it being 24V since I've got a daisy chain for 6 9v pedals and I intend to use all 6 anyway.
Tremolo pedals seem to be quite...
I've been looking at effects pedals to add some new tonal dimensions to clean sections, etc.
Settled on the TC Flashback and the Electro Harmonix Worm has caught my eye, it's really cheap and has four mod functions, all analogue.
Has anyone owned one or used one? What's it like? Clips sound...
