    DSL 100H vs JCM2000 DSL 100

I have had multiple jcm 2000, have both 100 and 50 watt now... a couple friends have/had dsl100H.. I'll keep my older ones. The new ones do sound good, just find the older ones sound better.

What's the consensus on the mesa JP-2C sig head?

If you turn off the shred mode in channel 2, keep the gain amd treble below noon amd the knobs pushed in, it does a crunch very well. Much much better channel 2 on the jp-2c than on the mk IV. It has the ability to give you three actuall channels. Clean crunch and whatever you want the third...

    Fulltone OCD Gear Spotlight

What were you wanting to achieve with it? Its not a super high gain pedal, I've used it in plexis, metal panel super leads. Vintage and newish fenders, friedman runt etc. But., it doesnt like the clean channel of my DSL or my bogner xtc very well.

Exactly. One of the best pedals you can run into a non master volume amp or low gain channel.

What's the consensus on the mesa JP-2C sig head?

Take the JJ tubes out of it first thing and put in some old or even new chinese preamp tubes. . They suck the life out of any amp ever made.

What's the consensus on the mesa JP-2C sig head?

I love mine. While I am a marshall guy.. I've owned a couple mark IIC+, multiple mark III and Mark IV. (Like 4-5 each) and other than the original its my favorite. For pure lead tone, the jp-2c isnt quite a IIC+, there is a little something extra. But if you're looking for the most...

I'm not going to apologize. I love G12T-75s.

I like the old ones. Just bought an old cab a few months ago and I was pleasantly reminded how good they do sound.

    Friedman Runt 50 arrived today!

I've had both and sold Both in the last couple years. They're both great amps, congrats on finding what makes you happiest. Like unsaid I sold mine... so I'd be the last guy to make fun of another for loving.it then selling it. One thing I will say about the runt, the clean channel is one...

Suggest me a bridge pickup for my '76 LP custom

Make sure you check your pots, a lot of 70s les Paul's have 300k pots and they destroy tone. Friend has a 71 custom, loves the guitar but its thin sounding all the time. Cant convince him to change out the 300k pots because they're original...

Gibson T Top vs Shaw PAF

The shaws are definitely sweeter sounding. They're really low output, but somehow they dont feel like it. You dont have to fight notes like you do with a lot of low output pickups. They are dang good PAF type pickups.

Excellent condition, kick ass little combo amp. Comes with footswitch, has stock celestion greenback speaker. I bought it new, and probably only has 20 hours on it at most. I just dont use combo amps.. I have heads and 1x12, 2x12, and 4x12 cabinets, and just never use this one. Not sure on...
