I've had both and sold Both in the last couple years. They're both great amps, congrats on finding what makes you happiest. Like unsaid I sold mine... so I'd be the last guy to make fun of another for loving.it then selling it. One thing I will say about the runt, the clean channel is one of the best out there. Takes pedals like crazy. I actually preferred the clean with a few pedals over the over drive for some tones. I think they could offer an amp with just that clean channel and sell them like crazy.
I think they do - Buxom Betty.
I do love the amp. I got a Buxom Boost yesterday, which gets it as heavy as you could want, but so does my Savage Drive. I'm convinced I had the wrong cabinet last go-around, as it just screams with Greenbacks. I'd like to hear it with the matching 2x12, but as my Greenbacks start to break in, it sounds pretty amazing. As much as I loved the Splawn, this amp is the closest to the tone in my head I've ever owned. I think many discount it for it's lack of gain, but it's got more on tap than a JCM800, and with a boost, brings the goods so much easier, and at lower volumes.
It's a loud amp, but I can crank it to about 4, and tame it with the volume pedal on my RP1000. I run it in the loop, and use it for FX only.
I also don't hear the harsh high end people speak of. It's extremely warm, and I have no need for an EQ in the loop, which I've used for over 10 years, and countless amps. With the Buxom Boost, I had to cut the bass to almost zero, crank the tight knob, and it's tight, high gain heaven, with the amp's bass at about 2:00 o'clock. The JJ 6CA7's I put in boosted the low mids a hair, and gave it a warm, fat low end. It's an incredible amp!
