This sounds interesting. I really like my DSL, but the brightness can be deadly at times. I love the roar of the amp, but if I could just smooth out that top end without losing the cut and agressiveness then I would be ecstatic.

I feel the same way about my DSL. It definitely needs to pushed a little before I'm satisfied with the tone. I agree that once you get it up to band volume it really smokes.

I'm interested in hearing some clips, but I'm not really in the market for another amp right now - especially one that will most likely be $2K+. That said, I also know that GAS can hit hard and fast :D :doh:

I'm looking to create some sort of straplock for my LP. The guy gave me a set of Dunlops when I bought the guitar, but I hate the way they look and I've read a decent amount of horror stories. I suppose I could get some Schallers. I have them in my strat, but I worry about all that LP weight...

This happens to me quite a bit on CL. People say they will buy your item, then when it comes time to arrange a time to pick it up, they all of a sudden are nowhere to be found :doh:

There are definitely deals to be had if you're patient. I scored my DSL 100 off of there for $600, which I thought was a pretty damn good deal. Not absolutely unreal, but good nonetheless.
