Are you still a tube guy? If so, I've got 2 matched mint NOS ECC83 RFT's (104/105 & 106/107 B+) that I'll give you. They are late '60s and go for about $40 each. Very warm, very sweet and a clear clean chunk to them.

Actually, I was hoping one of my Rickenbackers (some on order since 2006!) would have arrived. I did buy myself an early gift: Axe-Fx Ultra back in October. But nuthin' under the tree for me.

However, Santa gave my son (2 yrs old) a new keyboard and electronic drum pad (4 pads) to replace the baby toy keyboard and marching drum. Last year he was given an acoustic guitar that he is working on (its a very small size, but can't get it tuned to anywhere near concert pitch (A = 440) without snapping the B and E strings (luckily it came with a spare set!). He'll be getting a new guitar (one of those electric starter kits) sometime next year, once I'm sure he won't throw it, or smack it into walls and furniture - must'ave been The Who videos VH1's been playing incessantly for the last several months?

If you purchased an electric guitar starter kit for your kid, which one was it? How old was your kid when you gave it to him/her?
