Still dialing the X88 in. The Mesa clip had a bit more presence, so I tried to match that with the X88. That clip was just as soon as I hooked everything up.

    NGD! Fender Richie Kotzen Strat

Totally different from the Tele. These Dimarzio H-2’s are similar to the HS-3’s they used to use in the old Yngwie Strats.

Big fat frets, I didn’t measure them, but they’re fat like on the Malmsteen Strat.

    NGD! Fender Richie Kotzen Strat

I got the Kotzen Tele and when these MIJ Kotzen Strats came out I had to have one. Flamed Maple over Ash body, baseball bat neck, Dimarzio HS-2 wired for single coil.

I had ann Eventide Pitchfactor. It was a great pedal. The LX II has no effects loop.

I'm still dialing it in! I added some Depth on the LX II. It reminds me of 90's Lukather. Just has that vibe to it.

I tried the Boss Pitch Shifter again this morning. It sounds good, but when activated the volume drops. The Free The ToneTri Avitar Chorus sounded huge and worked well. I got used to running Modulation pedals out front of the amp. After disliking it for years, I got used to it and like it that way.

The Boss Pitch Shifter worked well in the loop. It was Hugh actually. Kinda like an always-in effect. I might try it again. That’s why im taking a hard look into the VP4.

I tried it. When turned ON, the output got lower. I always dial out low-end. I owned countless SLO‘s. I prefer this pre-amp. Way more versatile.

Difference between Fryette LS II, 2/50/2, PS2

That’s how I adjusted each one. The Presence and the Depth. I saw what the range was, and I put it in the middle (noon) and the Depth I turned off, cause I don’t like Depth on an amplifier.

Difference between Fryette LS II, 2/50/2, PS2

Yes, there’s a couple of holes on the top lid for adjustments to the Presence and Depth controls. That’s a total design flaw. It doesn’t affect me, but people that rack it are gonna have a problem. That being said it’s kind of a set and forget thing.

The LX II kicked the Power Station’s ass. Not fair because the PS was designed for something else, re-amping. The X88ir really came alive thru the LX II

I wanna thank you guys for the advice. The Fryette LX II arrived and it sounds awesome with the Soldano X88ir. There is indeed a difference from the Power Station. It is very audible.
