Up for sale is my beloved Rev Green Uberschall. I just don’t play as much since my son was born. Serial number 336, it was made in February 2004 according to Bogner, making it one of the later Rev Greens to be made. This one has a switch that allows easy swaps between KT88s and EL34s, and the...
Wondering what everyone is using for current-production KT88s today. I’ve had a quad of JJ KT88s that lasted a long time that I liked, but I’m not sure if the current production of those tubes is up to the old standard of quality.
Stupid me decided to try to swap out a quad of EL34s while I’m sick. I accidentally turned the bias pot the wrong way and the current shot up to about 170 mA for about 15 seconds before I realized what I had done and switched the amp off. Are these tubes toast, or is that too short of a time...
Quick question for Uber Ultra owners out there. I had a Twin Jet previously, but the external bias points are different on that amp. Using a multimeter, do I put the negative (black) lead in the point labeled Ground and the positive (red) lead in the points labeled V7, V8, etc.?
Also, are the...
This one came off a Rev 2 Uberschall. It’s in perfect shape. Mounting screws included. $100 shipped via PayPal, CONUS shipping only. Thanks for looking!
Title says it all. Preamp tube for V5 is fine. There’s volume loss no matter what I do with plugging in cables and whatnot into the input jacks for the loop.

Looking to see how much these are going for now. This one was made in late 2009 and has the updated gain taper and cloth grille headshell in good shape with a few nicks on the tolex. It also has a KT88/EL34 bias switch installed by the former lead technician for Crate Amplification. Comes with...
Have a 2009 Uberschall Twin Jet that I turned on today, but I’m barely getting any volume. I put another quad of KT88s in there but I got no sound out of them at all. Checked all preamp tubes, but they are fine. Fuses are fine too. Any ideas on what to do next?
I have a FR-equipped guitar that has open and fretted string buzz on the G string. The other strings are fine. I took it to a tech to look at and he can't figure out what's wrong with it. I'm at the end of my wits with this guitar... any ideas about how to fix it?
Just fired up the Twin Jet today, and there is hum coming from the speakers, but nothing from the guitar. Any ideas on what it could be?
EDIT: Seems to be working fine now. Not sure what happened...
