Is there any technique, no-matter how much you try, you just can't get a handle on it?
My personal list is a long one-
1. can't alternate pick
2. can arpeggiate chords properly
3. can't chug open A (ala every Ozzy tune)
4. can't hold pick properly (3 fingers) which in turn means I can't...
No huge fanfare. Just a killer band and great tunes. The 4 Convicts paroled to sing backup is a nice touch as well.
Also, kudos to the Soundman, who actually lets you hear the guitar clearly.
Quick clip I made a few days ago using my Monterey Strat, Sabbadius JIMI Fuzz and Funky Vibe RS. Fuzz is on the whole time. Clean first, then wound the guitar volume up.
Into the MK VII's Crunch channel, which sounds pretty Marshall-like, IMO.
I had two of these, and I always regretted selling both of them. This one is gonna go to the grave with me.
It plays awesome now that I set it up. 55 point inspection my ass.
While most of these guitars are 9-10 lb boat anchors, I waited for this 7 1/2 lbs.
1969 Funky-Vibe RS by Sabbadius #35 Clips will be made.
This is as close as it gets in terms of an actual Univibe clone. Like the original. Cancel Switch is heel-back on the foot-control. The effect is always "on", in that you're always going thru the pre-amp.
Brings me back to '73-74...
I’m looking for a new head under 2K. …
Also looking at the Bad Cat Linx
Welcome any suggestions. Just don’t tell me to buy used . That’s not gonna happen.
After about a two year wait I finally got my Marshall 1960AX cabinet w/ greenbacks.
Of course there was no casters in the box, and it’s supposed to come with casters, so zzounds gonna send me casters.
I like it better on a dolly anyway.
Both the Suhr SL67 and PRS HDRX sound great thru it. I’m...
zzounds has the cab, finally. Waiting for one to be in stock for what seems like 2 years.
Going to put the Suhr SL67 on the Marshall 1960AX.
Leaves my Suhr 2x12 all alone and "head-less" Open to suggestions for a great head, that's not sick money, for the Suhr 2x12 (V-30's)
It started with one Suhr pedal and quickly escalated.
Each one is perfect, The Eclipse is the best distortion pedal I ever owned.
I got an amazing Sabbadius Vibe I coming too!
My days of engaging assholes is long over. A few losers are ruining every thread, like juveniles. Mods doing fuck-all about it.
I'll keep doing my research elsewhere, without all the noise.
Couple of good guys here, but way too many assholes.
WTF? It's a first for me. Guy had Bogner Snorklers in-stock. Took off about $400, no tax. Perfect........until I asked about payment.
He went on a big sermon on why PP and Credid Cards sucked and cost him money. Like, I'm an asshole for using them. :ROFLMAO:
In his view Venmo or Zelle is better...
MGL was definitely on my radar. I've been looking around to see what's out there. Alot I have already owned thru the years.
Many nicely voiced amps out there, but when you boil it down, there is nothing like the sound of a High or Low-gain Marshall.
I dig 70's tones and always will.
That said...
