1969 Funky-Vibe RS by Sabbadius #35 Clips will be made.

This is as close as it gets in terms of an actual Univibe clone. Like the original. Cancel Switch is heel-back on the foot-control. The effect is always "on", in that you're always going thru the pre-amp.
Brings me back to '73-74, when my friend Kevin sold me his Univibe for $50!! It was his Uncle's, who was a keyboardist, gave it to Kevin. Kevin had no use for it and sold it to me!

The Korg NuVibe is like that too. And it sounds good !

That's cool. I just read you were pumped about buying a Univibe in 73 for $50. My first thought was "Damn that was a good amount of cash in 73". I did some research and in 1973, they sold new for $599...almost $4400 in todays money...crazy. Now I see why you were so pumped to get one for $50.

Dang that's cool, looking forward to the clips. Grats

Damn Carl thats killer! I picked up a Shin-ei vibe 2 a few years ago but this one really caught my eye. Cant wait to hear the clips and hopefully a small review. Congrats!

No way was a new Univibe $599 in '73. I recall seeing a new one for $75.
So, $50 was a good price back then.

Well, those clips are on hold for now.
I plugged the thing in this morning and was greeted with an awful ground hum. The kind where you turn down the guitar and there is still hum thru the amp.
I tried all the various troubleshooting, contacted Sabbadius.
Long story, short, he's sending me a new one w/ a 3-prong cord.

You are right, I went back and looked at the article and the guy was talking about the Univibe and the Eventide PS101 and it was confusing as to which he was talking about. Still, around $575 these days so not cheap.

Oh shit!! Uhg.... Well hopefully the new one fixes the hum and you'll be good to go. I really wanted to hear clips.. I can only imagine how you feel! LOL

Happy NPD! Looks like something cool 🤘🏻

Now please tell me what does it do? 😂

Badass, I'd love a chance to play one of those.

I got my first big box vibe pedal a few months back & Immediately hated how huge it is, and the fact that it instantly ruined all other modulation pedals for me.
