Thanks for reply Killertone! I have an RD45 coming later this week. Any instant gratification settings for the amp when I unbox it? Any little trick that you found with it? Thanks
Very nice! If you don't mind, what were your eq settings? I have a similar sounding amp that just needs a little boost in the treble area to get this tone. Nice grind and thump btw!
Ratt, Lita Ford, and Kick Axe at Embassy Ballroom in Chi town! Of the three I thought Kick Axe was the best. Lita Was hot though! And Randy Castillio rocked them drums before he went with Ozzy!
Wow...It's everything they say it is. Tested it out on my 50 watt plexi clone set up to a clean tone. It is very versitile. Van Halen type tones to AIC and then some. Plenty off gain on tap! All the knobs and switches when used, you can tell an audible difference when changing settings...
I have listened to Scumbacks 65 watters and WGS ET-65's side by side. To me they are very similar sounding speakers. I love the sound of my 412 loaded with WGS. I also have a 412 loaded with WGS ET65's and Celestion Greenbacks. Very ripping sounding cab. Just my 2 cents.
