Would you consider Andy Timmons on the same lovel as Satch?

Andy Timmons by a mile. I don't care about accomplishments. When I listen to Andy's music, I am moved.

Mesa/Boogie Electra Dyne vs Deluxe Reverb Reissue

Here's a video comparing my Electra Dyne's clean channel and DRRi. Which one do you think sounds better? Electra Dyne vs Deluxe Reverb: https://youtu.be/f_1BH7bYR9A

Im currently happy with my gear...anyone else??

I have an American Deluxe strat and a PRS Custom 22. My main amp is a Mesa Electra Dyne 1x12 combo and my other amp is a Deluxe Reverb Reissue. I have a good pedalboard. I'm very happy with my guitar rig, now I need to get a good in-ear-monitor system.

    Best amp for around $1,000

+1 The Electra Dyne is one of the best sounding amps out there. Fender clean mode, low gain Plexi mode, modded JCM800-esque mode. 90 watts Simul-class or 45 watts class A/B. I was a huge fan of Fender Blackface amps, until I played the Electra Dyne. But then the Vintage Lo channel is so good...

Worst case of G.A.S. you have ever had??

Mesa/Boogie Electra Dyne Serious GAS for about a year. I finally found a good deal on a used one and I snagged it. Best f'n amp ever! I still love this amp!

    New Girl - Arizona

Welcome! You have some nice gear. I really dig the JM strat and the EC amp. I've always been a strat guy. Single coils sound best to me for clean tones and mildly overdriven tones, which is mainly wwhat I play. I recently traded one of my strats for a PRS Custom 22 with a solid rosewood neck...

Boredom makes me do bad things - Mesa Triple Rec inside

Dude, that sounds sick! The vocals aren't bad either. But if you are really serious about singing, get yourself a good vocal coach and take lessons. Nowadays you can even take llessons online via Skype. I highly recommend Marc FFrancis at the Academy of Modern Voice. He's been my vocal coach...

    Billy Blades Update

Exactly! If you check out the Atomic Punk video and scroll down and read the comments, the real Mike Himmel says that he has no idea who this mrgtrman777 is. All these comments were made by a FAKE. Pretty creepy.

    Smallbox Received

I sure would love a Smallbox or BE100! One of them's gonna be my next amp.

    Recommend a quiet compressor pedal

Remember, compressor pedals are usually not the source of noise.

Clean Boost - Suhr Koko or MK 4.23

Ok, thanks guys! You've precisely answered my question. I need a transparent clean boost. I simply need my tone, just louder. Looks like it's the mk 4.23 for me! Thanks for the responses everyone!

Clean Boost - Suhr Koko or MK 4.23

I'm on the fence about these two clean boost pedals. I need a clean boost to use in the fx loop of a Mesa/Boogie Electra Dyne. You say the mid boost of the Koko sounds like ass in the fx loop? That sucks. I use a TS-9 as a mid boost in front of the amp or dirt pedals, so I have that covered...

    Finished my pedal board, FINALLY!!!

Super nice! I really like how the controller and main unit are separate. It keeps the patchbay/wiring away and keeps everything nice and tidy. I'm gassing to redo my board with a looper of some sort. Congrats on a stellar board!

    too bad NIN sucks now!

Man, Pretty Hate Machine sounded so damn good in my truck when I was a teenager. I had an S-10 pickup with one helluva stereo system.

    NGD - PRS S2 Custom 24

A stripped down, solid color, carved top, solid mohagany, version of their custom 24/22 at around $1500 would sell like hotcakes. I was all set to buy a S2, but the non-carved top was a deal breaker for me. I had an SE Custom 24 once, and I must say, it played wonderfully and I couldn't believe...

    NAD: Mesa Boogie Electra Dyne

Yeah man, it's a heavy beast. I couldn't imagine a 2x12 combo. My friend has a Royal Atlantic 2x12 combo and it weighs 104 lbs. My Electra Dyne doesn't hum at all, even on Vintage Hi mode with the gain dimed.

    NAD: Mesa Boogie Electra Dyne

I have the same amp: Electra Dyne 1x12 combo. I absolutely love it! It does everything I need, Nice American Blackface cleans and takes pedals brilliantly - just like my Deluxe Reverb Reissue, Vintage Marshall-esque gain on the Vintage Lo and Hi modes. Put a TS-9 in front of Vintage Hi and...

    Pickguards - where to buy?

Go to the Warmoth website. They have a great pick guard "builder". Fill it out and purchase. Easy peasy. It's what I have on my #1. <-----------This guitar
