I had the morning alone and started screwing around with some old Metallica riffs. Their song "Fuel" is a guilty pleasure of mine, so I opened up Cubase and recorded a partial cover of it, just through the first chorus.

The signal chain is Me->PRS Singlecut w/ Dragon 1 in the bridge->Triple Rec->V30 in a Marshall 1966b 2x12. I can honestly say that I love this setup. I also finally busted out my wah pedal for the first time in years. I missed it.

Try to pay no mind to the vocals, I'm trying to teach myself to sing and am fully aware of the bum notes.

Gimme fue, gimme fie, gimme dabbadabba-dah!

Sounds great.
Love the Triple Rec!
Vocals are not thier way. Stick at it.

Dude, that sounds sick! The vocals aren't bad either. But if you are really serious about singing, get yourself a good vocal coach and take lessons. Nowadays you can even take llessons online via Skype. I highly recommend Marc FFrancis at the Academy of Modern Voice. He's been my vocal coach for a couple of years.

Thanks guys!

At some point I'll probably take some lessons, but right now I just want to figure out how to hit notes. I've gotten a lot better than I used to be and I think doing covers with music I'm familiar with has been a huge help. I'm just not that serious about singing yet.
