It would appear that the Slax is more of a gain machine with more bottom end....but for those who have had or still have both, what are your thoughts between the two?

Anyone have experience with these versus traditional tolex? I've seen a few cab builders offer the option, namely Splawn. It seems like a good idea that could be very durable...but maybe someone knows of any downsides.

I'm still scratching my head on this one. We were about to start our set and I fired up the D-Moll. I was getting a really weak signal, like no gain. I switched from my wireless to a cable and it was fine...so I changed out the batteries and all seemed to be good. About three songs into the set...

Just got a 'Lil Fokker in the mail today. It is one mean mofo, very immediate attack and damn aggressive. It sounds very VH4 channel 3 to my ears. It is quite a bit drier than the D-Moll, so I'm sure it will shine even more in a band setting.

After a number of different cabs for the Diezel...I finally just bit the bullet and got the matching cab. I was running an all V30 Uberkab and it sounded great but I couldn't get rid of the itch to make em match.

I've found a few sites, like Matt's Music, that have them on their site and say that they are German made. However, I'm not sure if it is just outdated pictures or misinformation but they all look like the "USA" cabs. Anyone know of a place in the USA where you are definitely getting a German...

I would love to get a real matching cab for my D-Moll at some point...but I tend to prefer 16 ohm cabs IME. I'm curious if there is a specific reason Diezel cabs are wired at 8ohm mono vs 16. Thanks!

Does anyone know if the D-Moll is the same sized headshell as the Einstein? I'm looking at road cases and there are a number of ones made for the Einstein but I haven't found one in the US made specifically for the D-Moll. Thanks!

Anyone notice any difference in sound or durability? I believe several companies such as Krank, Diezel, etc. have used poplar so I'm guessing it's a suitable cab wood. I am looking at Carvin's 412VB as an more affordable option for a front loaded cab than Diezel, Bogner, etc. so the question...

Seems like the only options are Diezel, some Bogners, and VHT Fat Bottom cabs. Are there any front loaded cabs out there that sound good but don't cost an arm and a leg? I know the VHT cabs can be found for a decent price used but they aren't too common.
