Just wanted to give benji some kind words had a great smooth transaction with him. Super fair cool dude highly recommended I got a great deal
Good to hear it sounds good with the tubes it was designed for I hope the same applies to my 20th shiva thats on its way its shipping with the kt88's but it seems everyone and their mother wants to mod it for el34's I'm thinking it might be hype
good to know man thanks for the info man I didn't bond with the modern frost I just got kinda stiff feeling if that makes sense I got a custom curly koa suhr classic T w dual hums and gotoh 510 I got in trade off a forum member I am gonna give suhr another shot
Thanks for all the insight your right I worded that question wrong obviously its all subjective I'm not trying to start a S@#t show lol. I was just looking for opinions on the sound quality and the parts you need to make it work and sound great if I want to go that route. Its looking like a...
Hey Guys I just cant seem to control my gas recently I am tired of going from tube amp to tube amp I have a mark v boogie now and I still am not satisfied totally when does it end ya know. I was wondering if anyone has any opinions on these kemper profiling amps. Everyone seems to say go axe fx...
I owned one for a short while I wouldn't call it a preamp it really didn't produce as much gain as the blackstar ht-20 I owned for a short while. Also im fairly positive that the 12ax7 in it doesn't get enough juice to actually work and produce the gain itself I believe its op amp clipping they...

either of those can be a liquid at some point ever hear of magma but they both are freaking solids now if metal was a liquid id fall through my car while driving it
wow... thank you for assisting me in my lifes mission to get gc back for all the bs,lies, and low offers they have thrown at me over the years you are my hero I think what you did was justified. One little detail that might make it not ok is if a cool dude just happens to buy it plugs his head...
NOS RFT 12ax7 are the best high gain pre amp tubes in my book really not much more than new production tubes sounded killer in my twin jet also I would vote winged C's if they were not so damn expensive now. For new production stuff I like tung sol preamp tubes and JJ's, and tung sol el34
OK I see so many guys these days throwing out their killer tube heads for one of these it defiantly intrigues me. Whats the cheapest way into a solid but affordable AXE FX rig. power amp suggestions, do you use a cab or a stage moniter, I guess the expensive footswitch is a must too? Also is it...
It could be a pair of power tubes most amps with power scaling will switch between two or four tubes when scaling down it may only be using one pair of good tubes when your in 120 watt mode. If this is the case I doubt it will work much longer like that. My local amp guru told me once that he...
thats horrible for most amps depending on the wiring in your cab also you probably did so already but I would check the continuity of your speaker cable just to make sure there isn't a break
I still think its one of your preamp tubes let us know what happens when you replace them. In the meantime you could just move some around and see if that fixes the problem also you should check the wiring in your speaker cabinet it could have come loose on the way to the gig and the vibration...
Splawn Nitro all the way you gotta be on your game with that amp but totally worth it if you have the chops plus Scott is a really cool dude to work with
