What's your "magic mojo" pedal?

This weekend I used my Whammy pedal for the first time in a while, on the harmonize down an octave setting. I don't know what it is, but that setting just makes me bust out riff after riff, when most of the time I'm writing "chord-y" type stuff and have trouble coming up with riffs.

It made me curious if any of you guys have "that one pedal" that gives you an extra dose of mojo and go off on a tear? Is it an overdrive that gives your amp that perfect bit of extra juice? A delay pedal that makes your leads sing? A phase 90 or modulator of some sort for some extra colour, a la EVH? What's your go-to magic box?

mxr 10-band eq almost never turn it off goes head to head with my maxon 808 for most magical on my board

Marshall Jackhammer dist/overdrive, very colorful pedal with lots of bite and cut.

Lovepedal Eternity or BB+ up front and Carbon Copy in the loop. If I had to have just one it would be the delay.

Its funny you should mention i use the Octavia setting on my Digitech and just bust out sick stuff left and right.

A 10 band EQ can turn an ok amp into a firebreathing monster, and delays are almost always present when I'm playing. I love delays.

None.

Every single thing I have ever put In-between the guitar and amp is a compromise of some sort.

I won't budge.

Probably my DD-5.

For many of the musical situations I find myself in I play parts.
In general parts require ambience and a good delay slurs them up nicely.

I have a Keeley SD-1 and some sort of mod (hush mod?) Jap Boss GE-7...love 'em

It's a toss-up between my Flashback delay and Xotic EP Booster. If I had to pick one it would be the EP Booster.

+100 for me. But I have the Boss GE 7 Eq :D
That and a delay. If I had to pick just ONE pedal to use??
The Graphic EQ in the loop. Hands down.

I'm kind of on this page myself lately. I would have answered, my tuner but now that I have a snark, I don't even use the pedal tuner. My amp sounds so good without pedals I just look at the pedals sitting there thinking, well maybe one day I'll plug them in but never seem to. I will say there is one setting on my mark 5 that is mandatory to use my 10 band EQ with to sound right.

i don't use pedals to make my amp sound better i use them to make it sound different. With that said i could not live without a phase 90 and the el capistan. I toss everything else including the wah and reverb.

Tc Electronic Vintage Delay and my Analogman modded Maxon Ts9.......I run them both 95% of every gig.

I've been doing this off an on for months. It used to be delay for me (single note stuff mainly) but I just love my amp raw.

That being said, I still keep a T Rex Replica around for when I do need delay.
